Key Points to Remember

  • Be Involved! When you are actively involved in your child's education, he or she is more likely to get better grades and test scores, stay in school and behave.
  • Get to know your child's teachers. Check in regularly. And ask about ways you can support learning or help out at school.

  • Encourage Reading! Keep reading material handy. Encourage them to read every day. Read with them!

  • Encourage creativity and imagination! Do arts and crafts with students. PLAY with them!
